Responsibilities include instructing, evaluating student performance, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations and course materials.\nKey training areas include, but are not limited to:\n\nAMMO 33 Explosives & Environmental Risk Management\nAMMO-49 Naval Explosives Safety Managers/Supervisors Orientation\nAMMO-51 Naval Motor Vehicle and Railcar Inspection Course\nAMMO-67 HAZMAT Familiarization and Safety in Transportation\nAMMO-81-HC Hazard Classification\nFleet Sentencing\nExplosive Driver Certification\nThe courses listed above represent current training requirements and may be modified based on mission needs or updated regulatory guidance.\n\nQualifications:\nQualifications:\nAssociates degree is required an at least five (5+) years of work experience.\nExperience in ammunition operations, explosives safety, and instructional delivery.\nAbility to lead training events in both classroom and field environments.\nDemonstrable experience developing and delivering training programs\nIntermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts\nStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time\nMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically\n\nSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
