This position offers the opportunity to work on a combination of Process Piping HVAC, plumbing, piping, and design-build projects across healthcare, education, hospitality, commercial, and institutional markets.\n\nThe Assistant Project Manager will partner with Project Managers and field teams to coordinate project operations, manage documentation, track costs, support procurement efforts, and help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist Project Managers with all phases of project execution, from preconstruction through project closeout.\nCoordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.\nPrepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.\nSupport procurement activities, including material buyouts, purchase orders, equipment tracking, and vendor coordination.\nReview construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.\nAssist with project scheduling, planning, and progress tracking.\nMonitor project budgets, labor productivity, and cost forecasts.\nParticipate in project meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes and action items.\nAssist with monthly billings, collections, and financial reporting.\nCoordinate with fabrication, BIM, and field operations teams to support efficient project delivery.\nHelp manage project closeout activities, including punch lists, as-built documentation, training materials, and warranty packages.\nPromote and maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or project coordination.\nProcess piping experience\nExperience supporting commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, piping, or MEP construction projects preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.\nExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction management software is preferred.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.\nSelf-motivated with a desire to advance within a growing construction organization.\n\nPreferred Experience\n\nMechanical contracting experience.\nDesign-build project experience.\nHealthcare, higher education, hospitality, commercial, or public works project exposure.\nWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.\nExperience supporting projects ranging from $5M to $100M+ in value.\n\nBenefits\n\nFull Benefits Included\n\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
