(DSN) is seeking a full-time Case File Processor to join our team in Springfield, IL! We offer full benefits, PTO, 401k, and more!\nThis position prepares foster care applications for a title IV-E eligibility determination by collecting the required documentation to satisfy the eligibility requirements for Judicial Requirements; Age, and Removal as well as AFDC-relatedness for Residency, Citizenship, Specified Relative, Financial Need or Deprivation. This is accomplished by utilizing multiple systems including but not limited to: Department of Children and Family Services’ Child Welfare systems (CYCIS & SACWIS), Department of Human Services/Healthcare and Family Services’ systems (PACIS, IES, KIDS), Social Security Administration system (SOLQ), and Department of Labor systems (DOL/AWVS). In addition, Case Managers and Supervisors are contacted to resolve discrepancies or request additional information.\nThis position requires the ability to multi-task and to adapt to changes daily. Candidates for this position must be very detail-oriented and possess the ability to process, discern, and retain information across multiple sources. Reading comprehension is a must. The ability to assess a process or situation and recommend an enhancement or change is a plus.\nPreparing Case Files for Submission to the DCFS Eligibility Determination Unit Job Duties:\n1. Check out cases ready for determination (court documentation present in the file).\n2. Run the CYCIS, PACIS, SOLQ, DOL/AWVS, KIDS, and IES clearances for each case.\n3. Review and interpret all gathered information to determine:\na. Household composition,\nb. Income sources,\nc. Deprivation, and\nd. The last date the child lived with the “Contrary to the Welfare” (CTW) subject (the person or people which cause the child to enter foster care).\n4. Follow up with the Case Manager and Supervisor if there are any discrepancies or further information is required.\n5. Routinely follow up on any outstanding requests for information or documentation.\n6. Complete all fields of information on the Cover Sheet for each case.\n7. Document any additional information relevant to the determination of eligibility.\n8. Ensure all documents are in the case file and are in the correct order.\n9. Submit the file to the supervisor for a quality control check.\n10. Correct any issues found during the quality control check, if applicable.\n11. Assist with all filing duties.\n12.
