This position is designed for a technically proficient sales professional capable of identifying performance gaps within packaging lines and recommending engineered solutions that align with production objectives and long-term scalability.\n\nThe role centers on supporting customers with packaging equipment, industrial printing systems, and automation technologies designed to address real-world production challenges. This is a field-based position requiring direct engagement with plant managers, operations leadership, and engineering teams. The Sales Engineer operates with significant autonomy while collaborating closely with internal integration, engineering, and service personnel to ensure solutions are properly specified, implemented, and supported throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nManage and strategically grow the North New Jersey territory.\nGenerate new business through targeted prospecting and outbound engagement.\nAssess existing production lines to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.\nRecommend technically sound packaging and automation solutions.\nConduct on-site equipment presentations and system demonstrations.\nCollaborate with engineering and service teams to scope and deliver integrated systems.\nDevelop proposals, prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close opportunities.\nMaintain accurate CRM records, pipeline visibility, and forecast reporting.\nRepresent Dartronics at trade shows and industry events.\nSupport long-term customer success through training and post-installation engagement.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nResidency in North New Jersey with the ability to travel locally.\nB2B sales experience within industrial, manufacturing, machinery, or automation sectors.\nComfort with outbound prospecting and territory development.\nMechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical equipment.\nStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.\nProficiency with CRM platforms and Windows-based systems.\nTechnical or engineering background preferred.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nBase salary plus uncapped commission.\nRealistic earning potential: $75,000-$250,000+.\nMileage and toll reimbursement.\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.\n401(k).\nOngoing product training and technical support within an established integration firm.\nAbout Dartronics, Inc.\nDartronics is a 30+ year system integrator specializing in packaging equipment and automation solutions for the final stages of the production line.
