The developer will build and deploy custom applications and services supporting the customer's enterprise and GEOINT mission.\n\n*Responsibilities*\nResearch, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and software solutions.\nAnalyze user and business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.\nWrite well-designed, efficient, maintainable, and testable code.\nDevelop automated unit and integration tests, resolve defects, and support formal testing and releases.\nDesign and maintain application code across development, test, production, and on-premises/data-center environments.\nUtilize the customer's enterprise DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines to build, test, integrate, and deploy software.\nDevelop and maintain application monitoring while adhering to established security requirements.\nParticipate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, story development, estimation, retrospectives, and other SAFe/Scrum activities.\nCommunicate progress, technical risks, dependencies, and delivery concerns to the Scrum Master and development team.\nMaintain technical documentation and recommend improvements to application processes, performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nProvide technical support and consultation for application, database, and infrastructure issues.\nDevelop solutions that integrate enterprise data, databases, geospatial systems, and customer workflows.\nMission & Technical Environment\nThe developer will support enterprise geospatial and imagery capabilities within an NGA mission environment. Work may include applications and workflows supporting imagery ingestion, validation, backup, tracking, dissemination, and geospatial product management.\nTechnologies and systems may include GIMS, GDATM, GRMS, MARGE, NGA product dissemination systems, AMSD, DPPDB, UCAP, GMM, and other GEOINT and imagery systems.\n\n*Required Qualifications*\n5+ years of related software development experience.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent education, technical training, or professional/military experience.\nActive TS/SCI clearance required; eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph.\nExpert proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with multiple technologies such as Python, Java, JavaScript, React, or .NET/Visual Basic.\nStrong understanding of software development processes and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes and container-based application development.\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Nexus.\nExperience with SQL data stores and enterprise databases.\nExperience deploying software to on-premises/data-center infrastructure.\nStrong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaborative development skills.\nExperience using Jira and Confluence in an Agile development environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing containers for Red Hat OpenShift.\nExperience with Elasticsearch.\nFront-end development experience with HTML, CSS/Sass/Less, JavaScript, or React.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code using Helm or Terraform.\nExperience with AWS/cloud infrastructure.\nExperience with PostgreSQL or other relational/object-relational databases.\nExperience with ArcGIS, MAPINFO, or other geospatial technologies.\nFamiliarity with NGA systems architecture, GEOINT workflows, imagery databases, or intelligence-community mission systems.\nExperience developing dashboards, workflow automation, APIs, or data-integration solutions.\n\n*Education:*\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and professional or military experience.\n\n*Security Requirement*\nActive TS/SCI clearance is required.
