Overview Join our dynamic team as an OTR (Over-the-Road) truck driver, where you’ll take charge of transporting freight across long distances with energy and precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and more, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across multiple states, adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel usage and minimizing delays Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or specialized freight with precision and care Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with legal requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered on the road Experience Proven truck driving experience with a focus on long-haul or OTR routes involving freight transport across multiple states Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks Demonstrated ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other loading equipment when applicable Strong understanding of route planning, delivery schedules, and compliance with transportation regulations Experience handling different types of freight including refrigerated goods or specialized cargo requiring careful handling Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the equipment operated (e.g., tanker endorsement) Knowledge of safety procedures related to truck driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
