Take-Off Operator - Groesbeck, TX Location: Groesbeck, TX 76642 Pay: $14.00/hour Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Must be flexible to work 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM as needed) Job OverviewWe are looking for a dependable and hardworking Take-Off Operator to join our production team. This role works at the end of the production line, removing, inspecting, and packaging finished materials while helping keep the line running efficiently. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to stay on your feet throughout the shift. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Line WorkRemove finished products from the production line quickly and safely Keep up with machine speed to prevent slowdowns or backups Stack, stage, and organize materials properly Packaging & Order PreparationRoll, bag, and prepare products based on order requirements Label and organize finished materials correctly Transport completed rolls to the scale and staging areas Quality InspectionContinuously inspect products for defects such as tears, streaks, contamination, or thin spots Compare finished products to approved samples Report any quality issues immediately and stop non-conforming product from continuing Material Prep & Machine SupportCut and prepare materials for production runs Restock machines with plastic materials as needed Insert cores into rolls when required Assist with basic machine adjustments (bag length, print alignment, cutting accuracy) Scrap & Waste Handling Collect excess trim and scrap materials Bag and transport waste to designated areas Help minimize material waste during production Measuring & VerificationUse tape measures, scales, and gauges to verify product specifications Assist Quality Control with measurements and checks Monitoring & TroubleshootingWatch for machine or material issues such as misalignment or poor cuts Report problems immediately to prevent downtime or defects HousekeepingKeep work area clean and organized at all times Clean machines, workstations, and dispose of trash regularly QualificationsAbility to read measuring tools (tape measure, scales, gauges) Basic math and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs Stand and walk for extended periods (12-hour shifts) Frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movement Work EnvironmentFast-paced manufacturing environment Exposure to varying temperatures Standing on concrete floors for long periods Scheduled breaks: three 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch
