{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e0f9be935fe0afdf567086d7","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e0f9be935fe0afdf567086d7","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e0f9be935fe0afdf567086d7","title":"Sr. Extrusion Operator","description":"Sr Extrusion Operator\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Sr. Extrusion Operator operates an extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperate all plant equipment effectively, adjusting and cleaning machine as necessary.\nDocuments work performed as required\nAbility to changeover, operate, maintain and shut down and clean compounding lines and auxiliary equipment.\nSet up and prepare materials, equipment, and paperwork for processing on a daily basis\nComply with all quality standards\nTroubleshoot manufacturing equipment and operating issues\nComply with all safety and housekeeping policies\nLoad and unload trucks as necessary\nOperate forklift and other powered equipment\nReport incidents, safety concerns, and equipment issues to supervisor\nMake ERP inventory and manufacturing transactions as needed\nTrack and maintain supplies for the production floor\nDocument detailed process and quality data in appropriate forms\nProactively and accurately communicate project work status and issues on a daily basis\nMake creative and sound recommendations on how to improve extrusion performance\nDemonstrate commitment to Interfacial Core Values by leading, acting and behaving in a manner consistent with these values.\nAny and all other job duties assigned\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS\n· At least 5 year’s experience with extrusion and production equipment\n· Strong problem-solving skills\n· Basic computer skills with Microsoft applications experience\n· Experience with ERP systems.\n· Clear and concise written and verbal communications skills.\n· Must be able to work in a team environment and independently.\n· Ability to coach and train others.\n· Ability to multitask.\n· Ability to work well with others.\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $25.00 -
