The SQL Oracle DBA will work with a team of functional resources to develop detailed and summary level queries to inform data compliance and support data analysis efforts. DBA will support data analysis efforts DBA will also deliver basis services to client to sustain the system including maintaining database integrity, performing database routine maintenance such as UNIX and/or OS patching, table indexing, change pointers, etc., performs technical upgrade, perform analysis of, document, report, escalate, triage and resolve database performance issues. Monitors and maintains database performance, monitors, maintains, and enhances middleware technology. Analyzes, designs, builds, and/or configures activities necessary for the initial build or periodic refresh of components for the SAP environments. Performs / Executes COOP for backup and recovery of production and non-production environments. Perform / Execute environment refreshes of production and non-production environments using various technologies, tools, methodologies.Functional Responsibility: This is an exception position. A specialist providing expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, thought leadership, and education to the client and/or project team based on specialized deep expertise in such fields as technology, science, public policy and administration, and management. Typically has substantial graduate or professional education, and depending on the subject area, extensive specialized experience and a deep understanding of the functional subject area. Min/Gen Experience: Ten (10) or more years in specialized area. Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP preferred. Requires strong organization and communication skills. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.Specific Requirements for this Role:At least Ten (10) years experience managing enterprise database including SQLServer.Demonstrated analytic ability to perform SQL development, evaluate programmatic data, and propose solutions to project issues.Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.These resources require privileged access and require a PAA form and an SSBI, Comptia Sec + and Linux + or RedHat RH124 class participation certificate.Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline.
