This vacancy is for the 2026-2027 School YearRestorative Justice InterventionistKalamazoo Innovative Learning Program and Virtual ProgramSupervisory/Technical - Grade 16,192 days ($46,187 - $51,360)(Pay Rate for 2025 - 2026 School Year)10-month, Full-timeScope of ResponsibilitiesWorks with staff and building administrators to implement restorative justice as an in and out of classroom intervention to reduce out-of-school suspensions.Performance ResponsibilitiesAssists in staff professional development on restorative justice techniques.Conducts restorative justice conflict mediation.Conducts peace circles to reduce conflict.Creates behavior plans to increase time in school and reduce student conflict.Assists behavior interventionists and administration in improving the school culture and climate.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree in education, criminal justice, social work, and/or human services.2. Minimum three years of successful experience working with children and families in diverse/multicultural settings.3. Experience working with secondary at-risk students.4. Knowledge and experience with community resources and agencies.5. Experience in planning and delivering professional development on restorative justice.Desirable QualificationsMaster's degree in education, criminal justice, social work, and/or human services.Experience implementing restorative justice practices in a school setting.Please apply online at www.kpsjobs.com
