This position’s focus is on automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments.Required SkillsUsing the Linux CLI and Linux toolsUsing Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systemsRelease management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvementManaging software builds and releases with one or more programming languagesCI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practicesDesigning, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCIIaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including AnsibleDev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchainsExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and ContainerdExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired SkillsAtlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaborationFluent in sarcasm, kindness, and the occasional office banter
