The engineer will provide operational and engineering support for enterprise LAN/WAN connectivity, remote access solutions, and network infrastructure. This includes maintaining Cisco networking equipment, supporting wired and wireless network services, and assisting with troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues across the enterprise environment\n\nRequirements\n\n LAN Infrastructure Operations\n\nImplement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise wired and wireless LAN infrastructure.\nSupport Cisco-based networking equipment including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.\nMaintain network availability, reliability, and performance across enterprise sites.\nMonitor network performance and investigate connectivity issues affecting users and applications.\n\nWAN and Network Connectivity\n\nSupport enterprise WAN connectivity across multiple facilities and data centers.\nTroubleshoot network performance issues across routers, switches, and WAN circuits.\nAssist with network configuration updates and infrastructure changes through established change management processes.\n\nRemote Access Services\n\nSupport and maintain secure remote access solutions using Cisco VPN technologies.\nConfigure and troubleshoot Cisco AnyConnect VPN services and associated firewall infrastructure.\nMaintain secure connectivity for remote and telework users.\nInvestigate and resolve remote access connectivity issues.\n\nNetwork Configuration and Change Management\n\nImplement network configuration changes under established change management procedures.\nSupport network equipment upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration maintenance.\nAssist in evaluating and deploying new networking technologies and solutions.\n\nTroubleshooting and Incident Response\n\nDiagnose and resolve network connectivity issues affecting enterprise systems.\nUtilize network diagnostic tools including packet capture and log analysis utilities.\nPerform root cause analysis for network outages or performance degradation.\nCoordinate with network security, applications, and monitoring teams during incident response.\n\nInfrastructure Monitoring\n\nSupport monitoring platforms used to track network infrastructure health and performance.\nMonitor critical metrics including:\nNetwork availability\nInterface utilization\nDevice health\nPerformance indicators\n\nRespond to monitoring alerts and investigate potential network issues\n\nRequirements\n\nPublic Trust\nExperience in network security engineering or a related field\nBachelor’s Degree\n8 Years of experience providing LAN/WAN/Remote Access, Network Security, and/or Applications Support\n\nAbout Us\n\nAt The One 23 Group, our mission is to set the benchmark for excellence in government services.
