The position includes working in vehicles, on road, and at test facilities including Test Lab, Drivability Test Facility, etc. Models and data simulation may be used too.\nEngineers will be responsible for delivering drivability, tailpipe or evaporative emissions, or on board diagnostics.\nCalibrate and Sign-off vehicle functional objectives.\nDocument progress and methods used to calibrate / validate parameters within responsibility.\nDesign and conduct tests to validate engine and vehicle fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics.\nEvaluate and assess vehicle attributes (performance, fuel economy, emission, NVH) on vehicles and in engine dynamometer cells.\nCalibration and development of leading edge aftertreatment technologies for PM, NOx, HC, and CO reduction\nCalibrators use in vehicle data acquisition systems and are responsible for data analysis and scripting.\nSkills:\npropulsion systems calibration, Engine calibration tools, test scripts, read c code, control systems knowledge, ATI vision\nAdditional Skills & Qualifications:\nGas, diesel, or hybrid calibration experience is preferred. Electric vehicle propulsion calibration experience is desirable as well.\nATI Vision is used for data acquisition and analysis.
