This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and foster professional growth in the telecommunications industry.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, terminate, and test structured cabling systems including CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cables according to schematics and industry standards.\nPull cables through ceilings, walls, conduits, and cable trays using power tools and hand tools while adhering to safety protocols.\nTroubleshoot and repair low-voltage electrical wiring, network cabling, telecommunication systems, and equipment using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and network testers.\nPerform fiber splicing and fiber optic system installation to ensure optimal data transmission performance.\nConfigure and test network equipment including Cisco routers, Juniper devices, VoIP systems, and telephony hardware to ensure proper operation.\nConduct site surveys utilizing schematics and technical drawings to plan cable routes and identify potential installation challenges.\nAssist with the setup of communication systems such as CCTV cameras, radio frequency (RF) testing, and telecommunication testing equipment to verify system integrity.\nRequirements\nProven experience in structured cabling installation, cable pulling, termination (Cat5/Cat6), and telecommunications wiring.\nFamiliarity with fiber splicing techniques, fiber optic systems installation, and troubleshooting fiber optic networks.\nAbility to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints for accurate system installation.\nHands-on experience with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, network testers, and telecommunications testing equipment.\nStrong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems including AC/DC power supplies used in communication setups.\nSkilled in the use of hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers) and power tools necessary for cable installation.\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred; willingness to travel between job sites as needed.\nJoin us if you’re passionate about building reliable communication networks!
