{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e0c3eef601d765d239fd7c99","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e0c3eef601d765d239fd7c99","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e0c3eef601d765d239fd7c99","title":"Program Manager","description":"This is a contingent opportunity\n.\nDuties\nProvides complete facility planning and programming for assigned projects by establishing facility and infrastructure requirements critical for mission accomplishment; proposing the most effective and economical means of satisfying those requirements; identifying the year in which they will be required; and acquiring both the authority and resources necessary to meet facility requirements identified by the planning process.\nEnsures present and future programming recommendations are realistic, achievable, and make efficient use of resources.\nPrepares accurate programming documentation/packages, cost estimates, and other required reports within established timelines.\nAccurately assesses inspection, maintenance, replacement, or repair requirements, schedules, and costs.\nWorks with organizational managers and budget personnel to obtain and verify information used to justify and gain Congressional funding approval for proposed facility programs/projects.\nPromotes program/project items using valid reasoning and sound engineering/architectural principles.\nAdvises the government on the validity, feasibility, achievability, and efficiency of proposed projects based on constraints related to scheduling, cost, manpower, etc.\nDevelops programming documents for Secretary of the Air Force/Installation, Environment and Energy (SAF/IE) approval and/or Congressional notification.\nCoordinates projects with other engineers in a variety of disciplines, architects, and planners as well as contracting officers, tenant organization representatives, and construction agents such as from private contracting companies, Army Corps of Engineer, and the AF Civil Engineer Center. Obtains appropriate coordination to preclude omission of design considerations in a consistent manner.\nRequirements\nHave at a minimum an Associate’s Degree and/or 3-7 years of experience\nHave effective written and verbal communication skills in English and be proficient in developing and presenting professional engineering communications and presentations\nBe proficient in engineering mathematical calculations and unit conversion\nHave experience in project or construction management for multidisciplinary facility sustainment, repair, renovation, and new construction.\nHave experience in facility project scheduling associated with project execution\nHave experience with on-site project inspection\nHave experience with project cost estimating and methodologies\nHave experience in preparation of turnkey, design-build, and traditional construction/repair contract statements of work\nHave working knowledge of applicable engineering-related codes and standards\nClearance:\nMust be able to obtain a Secret clearance\nCompensation: The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000-$160,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
