Where no two days are the same.\n\n.\n\nLocation\n\n100% Onsite, Fort-Worth , Dallas TX OR Mendon, Utah\n\nAbout the job you’re considering\n\nThe Systems Engineer for the Mechatronic group serves as a technical specialist; provides expertise to support the development of new product ideas, concepts and product improvements; ensures the designs are consistent with the organization objectives; and acts as the interface between Product Management, Solution/System Architects, Mechanical, Electrical and Software Developers for transforming the defined stakeholder requirements into a set of system/subsystem requirements that will guide the design of the solution.\n\nYour role\n\nLead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to gather and track goals and KPIs.\nTranslate product goals into comprehensive system and subsystem requirements.\nGenerate and maintain interface control documents for subsystem and vehicle interactions.\nSpecify functional and non-functional requirements in detailed subsystem specification documents.\nSupport analyzing impact when there are changes to stakeholder requirements.\nAssist Safety Engineers in analyzing systems/subsystems to mitigate risk exposure.\nEnsure safety goals, requirements, and methodologies are integrated into product designs.\nEvaluate new requests and provide accurate estimates for new features and functions.\nParticipate in conceptual design and documentation processes.\nLead design reviews to ensure traceability and compliance.\nReview and approve test plans and procedures for alignment with requirements.\nContribute to business development through proposal inputs and customer meetings.\n.\n\nYour skills and experience\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n4–7 years of direct experience in requirements elicitation and generation.\nProven track record in product development lifecycle for complex systems/subsystems.\nExperience in autonomous systems, robotics, or related fields highly desirable.\nProficient in Agile or Scrum methodologies.\nStrong understanding of design principles, hardware development, and requirement management tools.\nExcellent problem-solving and leadership skills; strong communication abilities.\nExperience with requirement management tools such as IBM Doors, Jama Connect, Polarion, or other requirement management software.\nExperience with safety analysis such as HARAs, STPAs, FMEAs, and others.\nINCOSE SEP certification or CPRE certification preferred.\n\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 68,911 - 150,350\n\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
