The Sr Software Developer will create, sustain, and upgrade the ARCNet web application. The position requires knowledge of full stack development, testing and implementation. The position will be primarily on-site with some hybrid telework flexibility at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain the ARCNet web application, ensuring high performance and security.\r\nDesign, develop and maintain SQL Server databases, SQL Server Objects, Report Services and Integration Services packages.\r\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into well-defined specifications.\r\nInterface with the ARCNet help desk to resolve issues as they arise.\r\nImport data from legacy systems, ensuring data quality and consistency.\r\nIdentify and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development practices, automation, and data processing capabilities.\r\nActively participate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.\r\nTroubleshoot production and non-production issues by reviewing and analyzing logs, metrics and code.\r\nSolve complex technical problems with innovative solutions.\r\nRequired Skills / Experience\r\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science or an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience.\r\nMust meet DoD 8140 compliance through required certifications for elevated network privilege (e.g., CompTIA Security+). If the candidate doesn't already possess, must be willing to obtain it prior to an agreed upon date.\r\nHolds a current active DoD Secret clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.\r\n5+ years of experience in software development using Visual Studio, with a focus on .NET and ADO.NET entity framework technologies.\r\nStrong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices.\r\nExperience in the following languages: C#, VB.Net and Classic ASP.\r\nUnderstanding of presentation layer technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC 4, Razor, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS, HTML and Telerik Kendo ASP.NET MVC web components.\r\nExtensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services including SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, views, schema design, and performance optimization.\r\nUnderstanding of WCF and REST to provide internal and external services.\r\nDevelop unit tests using the Arrange, Act, Assert test pattern to Moq the application.\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nPhysical and/or Mental Qualifications\r\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.\r\nAbility to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\r\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.\r\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer\r\nEOE, including Disability/Vets.
