We commit to and pride ourselves on providing reliable Ameron Pole Products LLC is searching for a Production Supervisor for our Anniston, AL Plant. The supervisor will oversee multiple activities simultaneously and take ownership of the output from employees working on the team. The supervisor is also responsible for exhibiting a strong working knowledge of all material handling, and other processes. The Supervisor will manage their departments and work to achieve plant goals while maintaining a high safety, quality and productivity standard. Structures, superior service, and product solutions. Ameron is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.Shift is 5:00AM-3:30PM Monday through FridayWhat You'll Do:Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and protocols, serve on safety committees, and complete regular safety auditsMange daily production operations of heavy industrial products for assigned work groupSet production schedules based on production introduction, equipment efficiency, and quality metricsCoach employees on work quality and quantity ensuring goals are met and solving issues as they arise and are identifiedEnsure the production of sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costAssist in continuous improvement activities to improve the movement of materials through various production processesManage hourly employees, monitor and approve time sheets and work logsAssign employees to workstations and ensure proper training is completedManage all aspects of assigned work groups and production bays, ensuring that production policies and procedures are strictly adhered to by all employeesWhat You'll Need:No less than 2 years of successful leadership experience demonstrated in a heavy industrial manufacturing environmentThorough knowledge of blueprints and layoutsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentA high degree of dependability, maturity, and strong leadership characteristics as demonstrated through previous professional work experienceMust be able to work 5:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. Regular and predictable attendance, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goalRange of small to large forklift experience preferredOverhead crane experience preferredEqual Opportunity Employer
