The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves working closely with various departments to implement quality systems and processes that align with industry standards.\nResults Required from this Position:\nAdd value to the company by:\n· Leading quality teams in root cause analysis and appropriate corrective action\n· Improving quality system through process capability studies and testing of proposed process improvements\nCore Duties and Responsibilities:\nInitiate, and expedite problem solving and corrective action reports\nGather additional nonconformance and failure data from suppliers, and customers as needed\nConduct Supplier evaluations and approvals\nConduct team problem solving sessions to determine root cause\nReview and inspect fans against customer warranty failure claims\nPerform product testing needed to support conclusions\nWrite failure analysis and root cause analysis reports\nReport product failures to design engineering for possible design improvements\nConduct process capability studies to improve internal processes\nTest improvement suggestions for statistical data on process performance\nSupport implementation of quality tools and systems\nConduct information meetings for Operations on Quality Performance and improvement plans.\nProduce PPAP’s to be approved by customer.\nPerform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Manager\nStandards Within the Position:\nReport findings on nonconformance requests and failure conclusions in a timely fashion.\nAccurately measure and provide data on the system performance.\nObserve all policies established in the Multi-Wing Employee Handbook.\nQualifications\nBachelors’ degree in a technical program, or degree with manufacturing experience\nProven experience in quality engineering or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to write accurate and concise technical reports.\nAbility to identify, investigate, and analyze nonconformance causes\nAbility to design and setup a mechanical test to support a thesis\nAbility to use Microsoft Office Suite\nUnderstanding of Multi-Wing components and part numbering system\nUnderstanding fan failures and typical causes of failure\nBasic Quality tools and problem solving techniques\nKnowledge of statistics and statistical control\nJoin our team as a Quality Engineer and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional products while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
