The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in utility systems, application architecture, and ADMS-related workflows, partnering with business and technical teams to ensure operational applications are prepared for future-state ADMS integration.\r\nLocation: Dallas, TX\r\nDuration: 2 months\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nAssess current operational applications, including OMS, SCADA, GIS, CIS, Asset Management, DERMS, and Customer Portals, to validate capabilities and identify limitations.\r\nEvaluate application readiness for future-state ADMS implementation and identify required upgrades, replacements, and integrations.\r\nPartner with Business Analysts and Integration Architects to map prioritized ADMS workflows to supporting applications.\r\nDocument application dependencies, interfaces, data inputs, outputs, and workflow interactions.\r\nIdentify application functionality gaps and recommend scalable architectural solutions.\r\nSupport enterprise integration planning and ensure applications align with future operational workflows.\r\nProvide architectural guidance for utility modernization initiatives and digital transformation efforts.\r\nEnsure application capabilities support real-time grid operations, analytics, and regulatory requirements.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nExtensive experience with utility OT and IT applications (OMS, SCADA, GIS, CIS, DERMS, Asset Management, Customer Portals).\r\nStrong understanding of utility operational workflows (Outage Management, Switching Operations, Asset Tracking, Customer Communications).\r\nExperience evaluating enterprise applications for ADMS or utility transformation initiatives.\r\nKnowledge of enterprise integration architecture, data flows, APIs, and utility integration standards.\r\nAbility to identify application capability gaps and develop practical solution recommendations.\r\nExperience collaborating with Business Analysts, Integration Architects, and business stakeholders.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience supporting ADMS, DMS, EMS, or Grid Modernization programs.\r\nFamiliarity with utility compliance and regulatory requirements affecting operational applications and data.\r\nExperience aligning application architecture with real-time operations and enterprise analytics strategies.\r\nKnowledge of utility data integration, interoperability, and digital transformation best practices.\r\nExperience\r\n8+ years of solution architecture or enterprise application architecture experience.\r\nDemonstrated success supporting electric utility modernization or ADMS implementation projects.\r\nStrong background documenting application architectures, workflow mappings, and integration dependencies.\r\nUtility industry experience is strongly preferred.\r\nEducation\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\r\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.\r\nExcellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.\r\nCTG will consider for employment all qualified applicants including those with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws.\r\nCTG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
