Automotive Service Technician

We are currently seeking full-time Service Automotive Technicians with experience to join our team! We are looking for dependable, self-motivated, highly motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a great work ethic.The applicant will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and installation services according to dealership standards. Attention to detail is critical.*Duties Include:*Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains.Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.Execute wheel alignments, calibrations, and suspension repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance.Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive tools to complete repairs with precision.Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify necessary repairs or maintenance tasks, ensuring safety standards are met or exceeded.Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timeframes, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience.*Skills & Requirements:*Minimum of 3 to 5 years of dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician preferred.Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics software.Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.Mechanical expertise in working with transmissions, diesel engines, powertrains, and general automotive repair.Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, with flexibility to twist and slide under vehicles as necessary.Ability to work independently or as part of a teamMaintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all service operations.Must be able to pass a drug screening testValid driver's license with a clean driving recordThis position allows for continuous learning opportunities in the areas of new technological advances, training programs, and manufacturer certifications.We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a full range of benefits including health, dental, 401(k) and more.*Compensation: DOE*Pay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Employee discountHealth insurancePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
