The selected candidate will provide advanced software development, system integration, and technical support for mission-critical Navy systems. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and system performance requirements.\r\nThis position is contingent upon award of the contract.\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting MCCOG systems and mission requirements.\r\nAnalyze user requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.\r\nDevelop and integrate software solutions across multiple platforms and environments.\r\nPerform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of applications.\r\nSupport system integration, testing, and deployment activities.\r\nEnsure software compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, including STIG and RMF requirements.\r\nCollaborate with systems engineers, network engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to ensure secure and efficient system operations.\r\nMaintain documentation including system design documents, test plans, and user guides.\r\nProvide technical support and recommendations for system enhancements and modernization efforts.\r\nQualifications:\r\nRequired:\r\nActive Secret Clearance\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM field\r\n5+ years of professional experience in software development or programming\r\nProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#\r\nExperience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies\r\nExperience working in DoD or federal IT environments\r\nDesired:\r\nExperience supporting Navy or NAVSEA programs\r\nFamiliarity with RMF, cybersecurity compliance, and secure coding practices\r\nExperience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based development environments\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\r\nPhysical and Environmental Conditions: Normal Office Environment.
