The Wet Processing Operator is responsible for operating milk processing equipment according to standard operating procedures, completing all required paperwork and maintaining accurate records\nWhat You Will Do\n\nOperate, but not limited to the following milk processing equipment: Milk Separators,\nCream Pasteurizers, RO and Polisher units and all associated equipment.\n\nMaintain efficiency standards set for the operating area; Contribute improvement ideas\nand initiatives; Work with a Waste Reduction Mentality.\n\nPerforms CIP and sanitation of the equipment in the wet processing area and associated\nsilos; maintains organization of the work area; and performs ongoing cleaning and\npreventative maintenance tasks in compliance with good manufacturing practices.\n\nPerform Quality Tests and component tests on milk constituents in accordance with\ncompany or regulatory guidelines.\n\nOperate processing equipment to achieve and maintain finished products results within\ntarget specifications.\n\nPerform routine equipment inspections.\nEnsures that tagging and identifying notifications on tanks are correct and recorded\nproperly.\n\nMaintain accurate documentation as required.\nSubmits timely and accurate reports.\nAssist with training new personnel.\nMaintain clean and safe work area.\nFollow all company safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practice policies.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.\n\nWhat You Bring\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\n1 year production experience preferred.\nAbility to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.\nWork with others to achieve team goals.\nMust be available for multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment.\nMust maintain high attendance standards and be trusted with high responsibility.\nMust be capable of heavy lifting (up to 55 pounds) and stand for extended periods.\nAble to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.\nMust be able to stand/walk for twelve or more hours based on production finish.\nMust be able to climb stairs.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain certifications for Pasteurizing equipment and any\nother regulatory agency requirements.\n\nNice to Have’s\n\nPrevious dairy processing or food manufacturing experience.\nAbility to monitor several concurrent processes simultaneously is critical to success in\nthe position.\n\nStrong attention to detail, must be able to complete multiple and repetitive tasks, must\nbe committed to accuracy and quality.\n\nAbility to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.\nWork with others to achieve team goals.\nExperience in a manufacturing environment, mechanical skills desirable.\nStrong computer experience for reporting and HMI screen management\nAbility to respond to variances in the process.\nAbility to organize and analyze process problems.\nStrong oral and written communication skills, strong computer skills\nKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes\n\nPhysical Requirements\nNever N 0%\nSeldom S 1-10% / 0-1 hour\nOccasional O 11-33% / 1-3 hours\nFrequent F 34-66% / 3-6 hours\nConstant C 67-100%\nPhysical Requirement\nSit O\nStand/Walk C\nClimb Ladder S\nClimb Stairs O\nTwist F\nBend / Stoop F\nSquat / Kneel O\nCrawl S\nReach C\nWork above shoulders O\nKeyboard O\nWrist C\nGrasp F\nOperate foot controls S\nVibratory task S\nLift 56 Lbs.
