The Assistant Site Coordinator assists and backs-up the Site Coordinator in several diverse areas in an Expanded Learning program environment, and is a main point of contact for all stakeholders – students and parents, staff, school personnel, and others - at the site level. The Assistant Site Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the Program meets Think Together’s compliance and grant-related requirements. Interactions and actions must be conducted in accordance with the Expanded Learning program’spurposeandoutcomes.\n\nResponsibilities:\nLead and/or assist in managing day-to-day operations of the expanded learning program.\nSupport with the supervision of program staff (Afterschool Youth Leaders, Athletic and/orEnrichment Instructors).\nLead and/or assist with conducting interviews, making hiring recommendations, taking\ndisciplinary action, and evaluating staff.\n\nAssist with providing training, guidance, and ongoing support to all program staff.\nServe as a role model by demonstrating professionalism.\nLead and/or assist in creating and organizing program schedule to include academic, recreation,\nand enrichment activities.\n\nPlan, organize and participate in expanded learning program events and field trips.\nEstablish and maintain positive relationships, and communication with school personnel, Think\nTogether staff, students and families regarding all aspects of student involvement in the\nexpanded learning program.\n\nRecruit students to ensure attendance outcomes are met on an annual basis per grant\nrequirements.\n\nAssist with student to staff ratio when necessary, facilitate classes and clubs as needed in\nabsence of regularly assigned staff.\n\nMonitor and enforce school and Think Together policies and procedures to provide a safe,\nrespectful, and positive learning environment.\n\nInvest in staff professional development by assisting the Site Coordinator in conducting\nclassroom observations, assessing needs, engaging in coaching conversations and referring staff\nto training sessions, as needed.\n\nAssist in conducting surveys for periodic program evaluations, including surveys of students,\nstaff and parents.\n\nCollect, review, approve and submit timesheets (as needed and/or assigned) by the specified\ndeadlines.\n\nSubmit all required documentation on a timely basis, including attendance reports, snack\ncounts, program schedules, enrollment & consent forms, monthly supply orders, and field trip\nforms, amongst others.\n\nRepresent the mission of Think Together and uphold all policies and procedures.\nAttend and participate in agency and department required trainings.\nTravel to off-site meetings and trainings.\nAssist in maintaining accurate records (i.e., attendance, student enrollment & consent forms,\nstaff sign-in sheets, etc.).\n\nAssist in maintaining documentation relating to staff performance issues; provide guidance and\nongoing support to staff as needed.\n\nDisseminate agency and department level information to staff in a timely manner.\nAdhere to workplace safety guidelines.\nAssist with evaluating work site for safety concerns to minimize workplace injuries.\nMake recommendations for workplace safety.\nMust wear Think Together uniform while on duty.\nReport workplace injuries via appropriate forms.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree\npreferred.
