Application Developers are expected to be responsible for understanding client needs, designing prototypes, writing code, performing testing, and maintaining technical documentation. They are also able to collaborate with teams to set specifications, write high-quality code, conduct testing, and troubleshoot applications. Application Developers must be able to break requirements down into appropriately sized objects, classes or methods that are consistent with the established enterprise architecture. They are also able to review requirements and estimate accurate development hours and schedule costs.\n\nAs with any position, additional expectations exist.
