This role develops and integrates software solutions to monitor performance, usage, and errors, ensuring reliability, interoperability, and optimal system performance.\n\nYour role:\nMaintain, support, and optimize our robust legacy C++ codebase to ensure continued operational excellence.\nActively participate in the design and development of our new, next-generation GPU-centric architecture.\nWorking with system and platform architects, system engineers and other stakeholders generate high performance, GPU-centric, platform based, and scalable designs of complex signal/image processing\nWorks closely and co-develops with CT BU platforms to create high quality working software to be deployed in products.\nWorks with processing algorithm designers to improve algorithms to decrease computational burden.\nProvides technical solutions that conform to requirements with a strong focus on end-users, high quality (QMS/regulatory standards), performance, safety and security\nThis role may require travel up to 10%. The position will be based in Cleveland, OH.\nYou're the right fit if:\nYou have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical, Electrical/Computer engineering or related fields and background in theory of medical image formation.\nYou have experience developing and maintaining complex software systems in C++.\nYou have some exposure to or experience with GPU programming (e.g., CUDA), or you are a highly intelligent, adaptable individual eager to learn and transition into GPU-centric development.\nYour skills include proficiency with image/signal processing. While experience with MATLAB and Python is helpful, strong C++ proficiency is the primary requirement for this role.\nYou have ability and desire to collaborate closely with CT global development teams, including the ones in the US, India, and China\nYou must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .\nHow we work together\nWe believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
