In this role, you will perform a variety of production assembly operations ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive tasks on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.This position is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, can follow work instructions and technical documentation, and have experience using basic hand and power tools.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies including:modulesboardspanelsdrawersframescablesWork from diagrams, drawings, and work instructionsMake initial layouts and use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and sawsPerform continuity checks on work in process and completed assembliesConduct quality inspections in accordance with specifications, as neededDisassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype or experimental assemblies/subassembliesWork closely with a team of 4-6 assemblersPerform toolbox audits at the beginning and end of each shiftComplete daily 5S task sweep to maintain work area organization and cleanlinessFollow safety, quality, and production standards at all timesRequired QualificationsAbility to read and follow work instructionsAbility to use basic hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsAbility to read drawings and wiring diagramsPrevious experience working on a government contractExperience with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Damage) controlPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environmentWhy Join Prolim?At Prolim, you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative systems and technologies that help shape the future.
