This is no cookie cutter development, this is a creative space that will make you think and challenge you at every turn.\nResponsibilities:\nCreate innovative new collaboration features for HP's video endpoints.\n\nDesign & develop audio and video services on embedded platforms.\nWork in very collaborative agile team to come up with innovative solutions.\nCreate high quality production ready software.\nBuild automation to ensure issues are caught early through our automated test pipeline.\nHave a strong focus on continuous learning and growth for yourself and your team.\nLeverage your programming skills to build rich user experiences, solve complex problems with content collaboration, audio and video processing. The solutions you build will run on a wide variety of hardware platforms around the world and be used every day.\nTurn software requirements into clean working software.\nUse the latest technologies to build services, applications and API's.\nBalance performance with the constraints of embedded platforms.\nEducation and Experience:\nMaster's or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education & experience.-\nMust have strong C/C++ embedded programming and debugging skills.\n2+ years of embedded platform development experience, or a master's degree.\nExperience developing & debugging multi-threaded applications.\nExperience developing in resource constrained Linux or Android embedded environments.\nKnowledge and Skills:\nProven effectiveness working with Agile software development and applying best practices.\nExperience with GitHub.\nStrong critical thinking & problem-solving skills.\nStrong passion for learning new things.\nExperience with USB, networking, security, video, audio, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi is a plus.\nThe pay range for this role is $83,000 to $127,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
