This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, setting up, and maintaining automated production equipment used in the assembly of electronic products. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring production goals, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems, maintaining high quality standards, and contributing to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Operation & ProductionOperate production equipment and automated machinery according to established procedures and work instructions.Perform machine setup activities, including loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and verifying production requirements prior to operation.Monitor machine performance throughout production runs and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and efficiency.Verify that materials, components, and tooling are correct before beginning production.Maintain continuous production flow while minimizing downtime and material waste.Accurately record production data, machine performance information, and completed work orders.Quality AssuranceConduct in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.Identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming products and take appropriate corrective action.Utilize measuring tools, inspection equipment, and visual inspection techniques to verify product quality.Follow documented quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Support compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.Equipment Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.Diagnose and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues.Escalate equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel or supervisors when necessary.Assist with equipment changeovers and setup verification to ensure efficient production transitions.Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper operating condition.Safety & Workplace OrganizationFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S and lean manufacturing principles.Properly handle materials and equipment to prevent damage or injury.Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement activities.Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.Team CollaborationWork closely with supervisors, quality personnel, maintenance technicians, and fellow operators to achieve production goals.Communicate equipment concerns, quality issues, and production challenges in a timely manner.Assist in training new employees as needed.Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.QualificationsRequired QualificationsMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipment operation.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to read and follow written instructions, work orders, and production documentation.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Preferred QualificationsPrevious machine operation experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or electronics environment.Experience working with automated production equipment.Familiarity with electronic assembly processes and printed circuit board manufacturing.Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards or quality management systems.Experience using measuring devices, gauges, or inspection equipment.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.Ability to frequently use hands and fingers for operating machinery and handling components.Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.What We OfferAt Profab Electronics, we value our employees and are committed to providing a supportive workplace where team members can develop their skills and build long-term careers.BenefitsCompetitive compensation401(k) Retirement PlanHealth InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysOpportunities for training and career advancementStable, growing manufacturing environmentAdditional InformationPreferred Language: EnglishWork Location: In PersonSchedule: Full-TimeJoin Profab Electronics and become part of a team dedicated to quality, innovation, and manufacturing excellence.
