A successful candidate will help develop and understand requirements from internal customers and create technical solutions to improve productivity and services.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nReview client requests and provide technical support for the integration of IT and Network services at onsite and offsite Events.\n\nCoordinate all proposals and work provided by event venues, HSIA providers, ISPs, and/or 3rd party vendors.\n\nDeploy, test, and support (directly/remotely) Event networks, WiFi, IT Assets, IT Help Desk, and Experiential Technology.\n\nDeliver technical resources within the Event’s budget and schedule.\n\nApply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.\n\nCultivate a network of global event resources and provide reports on vendor performance.\n\nOwn the technical support lifecycle and be responsible for managing technical risks providing redundancy) throughout support planning and delivery.\n\nCommunicate and enforce client IT standards; assist with creating and defining new standards as technology and scope evolves.\n\n25% Travel to Event sites as needed such as hotels, convention centers, client campuses, etc. In London as well as internationally.\n\nProvision and deploy hardware: Cisco, Cisco Catalyst, Juniper Mist, Peplink, Aruba APs. Switches, Wireless Controllers, Routers, Access Points etc\n\nDocument daily work via internal ticketing/tasking system.\n\nTroubleshooting where needed.\n\nESSENTIAL CRITERIA:\n\n3+ Years’ Experience in network deployment. Windows, Mac, Cloud, Hardware.\n\nCertifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+.\n\nClient Facing/Customer Service skills are paramount.\n\nPrevious experience managing client expectations and troubleshooting in a fast-paced live event environment.\n\nStrong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills.\n\nPunctuality and a can-do attitude.\n\nExperience with IDFs, Data Centers, and office space.\n\nExperience with VPNs (DVMRP, GRE, IPSec/SSL VPNs).\nExperience with MAN/WAN – MPLS, SD-WAN.\n\nKnowledge of support for 802.1x and network segmentation.\n\nFamiliar with patching of CAT6 cabling and Fiber Optic cabling.\n\nFamiliarity with Live Events, Video Streaming, Audio-Visual equipment is a plus.\n\nExperience working as a Project Manager or Consultant is a plus.\n\nThe EOS pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
