In this role, you will provide essential technical expertise in database design, development, and implementation, ensuring that information storage and retrieval processes are optimized for performance and reliability. Your work will have a direct impact on our customers' success, as you will be responsible for creating innovative database solutions tailored to their unique needs.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign and develop relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, along with necessary database parser and loading software.\nAssess long-range requirements for database administration and design, making informed decisions on data volumes, user counts, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security, and domain controls.\nEngage actively with projects from inception through to system acceptance testing and Initial Operational Capability (IOC), ensuring that all requirements are met and documented.\nCollaborate with project stakeholders to gather and refine requirements specific to business and IT subject areas, ranging from simple systems to complex architectures.\nProvide insightful recommendations for system improvements, optimization strategies, and ongoing maintenance efforts.\nTransform requirements and data into functional documents by creating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
