If you have a background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and thrive in a supportive yet dynamic setting, a encourage you to apply.Compensation PackageNew Haven Location: Base salary up to $50,000 + commissions on new business (2% of agency premium, paid one time).Wellington Location: Base salary up to $55,000 (absolute cap; $40,000–$50,000 preferred) + commissions on new business (2% of agency premium, paid one time).Paid Time Off (PTO) and other perks as outlined in the company benefits manual.ResponsibilitiesGeneral Responsibilities:Quote and manage new/renewal business.Work with personal lines, commercial lines, and farm accounts.Utilize the EPIC agency management system to streamline workflows.Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service.Qualifications/Requirements Licenses/Certifications: Active P&C license required.Experience:New Haven: Open to candidates with less than 5 years of experience; early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.Wellington: Prefer candidates with more tenure due to the dynamic of the team.Technical Skills: Familiarity with EPIC or similar agency management systems (e.g., Hawksoft) is preferred but not required.Soft Skills:Strong communication skills and willingness to engage in meaningful conversations.Adaptability and comfort in wearing multiple hats.Self-starter with a growth mindset.Strong organizational skills to manage workflow volume.Wellington-specific: Resilience and ability to work with a more demanding manager.
