We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.\n\nWhat you'll do:\n\nCreate and review drawings, define project plans, procure parts, materials and equipment\n\nManage suppliers to design test fixtures and execute test programs\n\nCreate instrumentation definition, calibrate instrumentation, and install instrumentation\n\nLead small test teams to drive programs to completion\n\nCollaborate multi-disciplinary teams including design, loads, M&P, and analysis teams to define tests which validate design details\n\nDevelop and review company and FAA test plans and test reports for static and fatigue testing\n\nCollect and analyze data from testing\n\nDesign test stands, fixtures, DAQs\n\nDefine testing procedures, SOPs, and best practices\n\nEnforce safety and test protocol in the structural test lab\n\nWhat you need:\n\nExperience with NX and/or FEMAP/Nastran software\n\nStrong fundamentals in structural and mechanical analysis\n\nExperience with Data Acquisition Software (LabVIEW, MTS, Load Star)\n\nPrior hands-on experience with aircraft design, analysis, or structural testing\n\nSolid problem skills and the ability to make decisions quickly\n\nExperience using Instron, MTS, or other testing systems\n\nExperience with electronics, circuitry, soldering\n\nAbility to lift 50lb\n\nAbility to travel up to 25% of the time\n\nKnowledge of FAA aircraft certification test requirements for Part 23 / Part 27 aircraft\n\nBonus qualifications:\n\n10+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace design, structural analysis or testing, with a minimum of 5+ years of structural test experience.\n\nA proven track record in airframe assembly and composite structure builds; EVTOL or experimental aircraft work is a strong plus.\n\nProficiency in CAD (e.g., CATIA, NX) and FEM (e.g. FEMAP).\n\nHands-on experience with structural testing\n\nExcellent communication skills, the ability to thrive in a rapid-iteration environment, and a bias toward action when solving complex, hands-on problems.\n\nArcher is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to job applicants with physical or mental disabilities, and those with sincerely held religious beliefs.
