In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from concept to delivery, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.\nThe role\nResponsibilities\nStrategic Leadership:\nOrchestrate collaboration across teams, removing roadblocks and fostering open communication.\nProvide a software development roadmap that aligns with future stakeholder/client needs and leverages cutting-edge technologies.\nIndependently prioritize stakeholder/client requests and think strategically.\nProject Management:\nManage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments.\nDevelop realistic project plans/schedules and track team progress towards milestones and deliverables.\nOwn the project schedule, maintaining and updating it as necessary to meet changing needs.\nFacilitate team meetings (including agendas, minutes, and action items) to promote decision-making, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and team engagement.\nFollow up on action items to ensure project stays on track.\nEscalate unexpected events impacting project schedule, budget, and resources to management.\nManage and resolve conflicts with stakeholders.\nDemonstrate a solid understanding of the project SDLC.\nTeam Leadership & Coaching:\nBuild, guide, and coach the Scrum team on Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products.\nFacilitate and support all Scrum events (e.g., sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospectives).\nTake complete ownership of the project delivery process.\nWork effectively with individual team members and clients.\nFoster an environment of continuous learning and development for team members.\n\nTechnical Expertise:\nEnsure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by your teams.\nPossess experience with Cloud Native Application Development (AWS).\nDemonstrate the ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business perspective.\nCommunication & Collaboration:\nCommunicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.\nMaintain excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.\nKeep the project team well-informed about the current status and any changes.\nFacilitate communication with extended team members.\nProvide regular project updates to management, including risk mitigation plans.\nWhat you'll bring\nQualifications\n10+ years of experience working in product development organizations, with a proven track record of developing enterprise-scale products in a highly Agile/Scrum environment.\nDemonstrated experience working successfully with cross-functional teams to deliver software.\nStrong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Master preferred).\nHands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Azure Dashboards.\nExperience in (one of) Application Development, Application Modernization, Platform Engineering, or Developer Experience.\nExperience with modeling business processes.\nAbility to multitask, manage, and coordinate complex client engagements while maintaining service levels and timelines.\nTechnical and in-depth project management style.\nSelf-motivated, team player, action and results-oriented.\nWell-organized with strong communication and reporting skills.\nAbility to work effectively under tight deadlines.\nExcellent interpersonal skills.\nAs required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $120k-$140k base+ bonus.\nThe expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.
