This role serves as the technical authority for ensuring product integrity, balancing innovation and business objectives with robust risk identification, mitigation, and validation practices.\nThe Technology Integrity Master will provide end-to-end leadership of NPI Phase 1-6 risk management activities, approve technology maturity and phase exit readiness, and drive continuous improvement of engineering standards and knowledge-sharing practices. This position plays a critical role in enabling successful product launches while ensuring technical excellence and customer confidence.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead Risk Management & Mitigation\nDrive risk identification, analysis, and mitigation activities throughout the NPI lifecycle.\nDevelop and oversee risk reduction plans to address critical technical and program risks.\nEnsure alignment with internal validation requirements and customer expectations.\nPartner with Design & Controls teams to achieve project milestones and quality objectives.\nSupport and resolve customer escalations related to product risk and reliability concerns.\nOwn Technology Maturity & Validation Governance\nApprove technology readiness levels, phase exits, and product release recommendations.\nAssess reliability and risk at key development milestones using predictive reliability methodologies.\nLead the planning and execution of validation strategies, including simulation, component testing, and customer application validation.\nEnsure products meet maturity, performance, and reliability requirements before launch.\nDrive Technical Governance & Product Integrity\nEstablish and maintain standardized technical maturity assessment processes.\nIdentify validation gaps and communicate associated risks to stakeholders.\nFacilitate design reviews and ensure lessons learned are integrated early in product development.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to improve launch readiness and achieve product maturity goals.\nChampion Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement\nOwn engineering knowledge management processes related to electric boosting and fuel cell technologies.\nContinuously improve risk management methodologies through lessons learned and best-practice integration.\nMaintain and enhance engineering standards, guidelines, checklists, and standard work processes.\nCollaborate with Engineering Centers of Excellence, Product Line teams, and Application Engineering leaders to identify capability gaps and develop training solutions.\nCoach engineers and project teams on advanced risk management and reliability practices.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum of 10 years of engineering experience working with electrical products in automotive or industrial environments.\nStrong technical expertise in:\nElectrical motors\nPower electronics/controllers\nAssociated software systems\nDemonstrated experience leading technical risk management and product validation activities.\nProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.\nStrong problem-solving skills and experience utilizing structured methodologies such as 8D .\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nGreen Belt, Black Belt, Lean Expert, or similar continuous improvement certification.\nDeep knowledge of reliability and quality tools, including:\nQuality Function Deployment (QFD)\nFailure Analysis\nFailure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)\nFault Tree Analysis (FTA)\nP-Diagrams\nDuty Cycle Analysis\nValidation Planning\nExperience developing and delivering technical training programs.\nKnowledge of electric boosting, electrification, fuel cell, or advanced propulsion technologies.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nRisks are identified and mitigated early in the development process.\nTechnology maturity assessments support confident business and launch decisions.\nProduct validation activities are executed efficiently and effectively.\nEngineering teams consistently apply lessons learned and best practices.\nProduct launches achieve quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction objectives.\nWhy Join Us?\nYou'll have the opportunity to shape the integrity and reliability of cutting-edge technologies, influence major product development decisions, and help build a culture of technical excellence across a global engineering organization.\nApply today and help drive innovation with confidence, quality, and integrity.\nThe salary range for this role is between $124K and $201K.\nNote that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
