Remove damaged product or supplies, as needed. Maintains required product inspection processes. Performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\r\nOperate and monitor line, removing or shifting materials and/or finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation\r\nEnsure package and product quality\r\nOperate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely\r\nClean equipment and area during and after shift\r\nMaintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices\r\nExpedite repairs to line; working with maintenance as necessary\r\nKeep daily records of down time and machine operations\r\nOther Duties:\r\nPerform other duties as needed to meet business demands\r\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\r\nN/A\r\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\r\nEducation and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED\r\nPrevious experience operating a pallet jack and fork lift.\r\nSkills, Knowledge and Abilities:\r\nBasic computer knowledge and skills\r\nBasic English (reading, writing, and verbal)\r\nIntermediate mathematical skills\r\nWorking with high-speed production machinery\r\nTroubleshooting basic mechanical systems\r\nPreparing documentation\r\nReading and using standards of operations\r\nPreferred Qualifications:\r\nPrevious experience working in a Manufacturing environment\r\nPhysical Demands:\r\nPosition requires lifting/carrying cases weighing between 20-45 pounds repeatedly over 10-12 hour work period.\r\nThis position requires walking or standing most of the time during 10-12 hour shift and may include stooping, crawling and crouching over and under conveyors.\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.
