Job Specifics Career Department Intensive Care Unit Status Full Time Shift 7:00am - 7:30pm Average Weekly Hours 36 Contact Employment Specialists Phone Email Posting Date Wed, 04/15/2026 - 12:00pm Job Responsibilities: Assesses/reassesses patient's condition based upon observation of patient and interview of patient and/or family, physician's diagnosis and data, diagnostic results, and relevant data from other healthcare providers. Uses professional knowledge to develop/revise nursing plans of care for assigned patients according to unit guidelines and criteria with expected outcomes. Collaborates and communicates effectively with team members, physicians, and other healthcare providers to coordinate the medical and nursing plans of care Accepts delegated responsibilities for functions such as, but not limited to, charge nurse for unit activities on assigned shift. Provides patients and family members with relevant health care education and instructions regarding treatments and procedures including pre/post hospital care as appropriate .Skills/Requirements: Effective communication and collaboration skills Uses critical thinking skills Ability to multitask and complete assigned duties efficiently Requirements Include Graduate of an accredited program for nursing education, BSN preferred. Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required ACLS/PALS are required.
