About the Opportunity:The Software Engineering Manager (Core Workspaces) leads and grows a team responsible for developing and evolving systems that support agentic development experiences. This role guides technical direction, contributes to architecture and implementation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance agent capabilities and developer workflows. The position is critical for improving system reliability, performance, and operational clarity.3. Responsibilities:Lead and expand a team within the Workspaces organization.Set technical direction for agent harness, integrations, and workflows.Engage in code and architectural decisions.Advance agent execution, tool usage, context management, streaming, and long-running workflows.Extend provider-agnostic architecture to adapt to evolving models and capabilities.Collaborate with Product and Design to develop practical developer experiences.Enhance reliability, performance, and operability of agentic systems.Mentor engineers, elevate technical standards, and clarify priorities and tradeoffs.4. Requirements:Experience managing and growing software engineering teams.Proficiency in React and TypeScript.Experience with Go.Hands-on experience with systems involving LLMs and agentic workflows.Familiarity with model APIs, tool calling, context management, or agent loops.Strong knowledge of distributed systems.Working knowledge of AWS.Ability to exercise sound technical judgment and handle ambiguity.Proven record of developing engineers while maintaining high execution standards.5.
