We provide information to help people navigate the maze of paperwork and procedures that come with subsidized housing. Join us as Program Assistant/Data Specialist creating a supportive and enriching environment for our community. If you are passionate about community development, possess the required skills, and are dedicated to making a positive impact, we invite you to apply.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nServe as initial point-of-contact for customers and greets guests entering the department.\nAssist programs in the organization of contracts, budgets, and files.\nAssist with coordinating and conducting housing workshops, appointment scheduling, and following up with clients regarding needed documentation for department programs.\nAnswer telephones, take messages, forward calls.\nRespond promptly to email inquiries for housing services.\nPrescreen calls, collect documents, and perform data entry for service referral and completion.\nDevelop knowledge of the department’s data management and data reporting needs.\nEnsure the utilization of appropriate client data collection and reporting systems as new programs are developed.\nDevelop forms necessary for intake, tracking, follow-up, and reporting.\nMaintain time logs, mail logs, and client registers.\nMaintain the record system for reports, requests, and personnel information.\nType, circulate, and mail correspondence.\nOrder and distribute office supplies, keeping track of office inventory.\nAssist with onboarding and training of new Housing staff\nRefer customers to ABCD Departments and other social service agencies for additional services, as needed.\nAssist in conducting outreach, scheduling information sessions, and providing general support to the program, as needed.\nPerform other related duties as assigned from time to time.\n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\nA Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and up to 12 months relevant experience required.\nAbility to be organized and process a high volume of client calls and emails.\nDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.\nAbility to use technology to effectively perform job duties.\nAbility to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds.\nBilingual skills in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese preferred.\nExpected Salary: $36,527.40 USD. Salary scales are set according to an explicit compensation policy and relevant market data.
