Assures the timeliness and quality of assembled product and production records. Assure that employees comply with defined core processes that are program specific: cabinets, bays, and other telecommunications equipment in a timely manner. Coordinates activities with the Engineering, Order Management, and Logistics Departments to ensure that the product meets the customer's needs and is delivered on time.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nIdentifies and implements changes to improve quality, schedule and cost\nEnsures certification of employees who perform certification required task\nCoordinates department activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables\nCoordinate with Assembly Manager for appropriate staffing levels, and scheduling to include: work assignments, employee vacations, overtime assignment, and back-up for absent employees\nLead the schedule resources to meet department productivity and quality goals\nCoordinates with the logistics department in staging materials for jobs\nDevelops and executes work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements\nAssures that the product is built in compliance to industry and quality standards\nAddresses all quality findings and takes timely corrective actions to correct the findings and to prevent any re occurrence. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion\nMaintain good document of time and production records\nIdentifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change\nProvide training on required skills\nAssists manager in retaining training records\nLead Assembly weekly meetings\nSupports continuous improvement by following established processes, identifying inefficiencies or issues, and contributing to solutions that improve safety, quality, and productivity.
