This position, preferably based out of Denver, Colorado, will include a combination of field work and technical support to support multiple environmental based contracts with federal and private sector clientele.\nPrior experience with federal land management agencies is a plus with a heavy focus on United States Forest Service (USFS); United States Department of the Interior (USDOI); Bureau of Land Management (BLM); National Park Service (NPS); as well as state, local and commercial enterprises.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nData interpretation and analysis, calculations, and modeling;\nEvaluate complex conditions, and propose alternatives and solutions;\nPrepare and review of cost estimates, schedules, proposals, work plans and reports;\nObserve and document environmental site conditions;\nConduct environmental sampling (soil, surface water, groundwater, soil vapor, biota);\nInstallation and logging of soil borings and monitoring wells;\nTime management: Completing required tasks on time, and within budget;\nAdherence to safety planning and protocols;\nMeet and coordinate activities with colleagues, clients, contractors and agency officials; and\nPerform other duties as assigned or required.\n\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\nBS degree (advanced degree a plus) in environmental science, geology, or engineering;\n2 to 5 years of relevant experience, including expertise in environmental site investigations, and remediation;\nExperience working on abandoned mine land sites;\nExperience with orphaned and abandoned oil and gas wells a plus;\nFamiliarity with Federal RCRA/CERCLA and State environmental regulations;\nOSHA HAZWOPER training;\nStrong communication and organizational skills;\nExcellent technical writing and research skills;\nAbility to work independently, or in a team environment;\nSelf-motivating ability to support multiple projects and tasks concurrently;\nProficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams), Google Earth. Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS a plus;\nPhysical Ability: Office work may include sitting for extended periods of time.
