Displaying a broad range of disciplines, environments, and automation best practices within the automated operations practice, or the individual may possess skills and highly technical experience in Endevor software. Familiar with Zowe as an interface for DevOps. Provides assistance and recommendations to management and clients on automated operations topics pertaining to the architectural design and development of applied systems and software services. Additional capabilities such as REXX coding to enhance further automation capabilities of the Consultant is important for this position.\r\nAbility to travel to client sites is required for this position.\r\nPRIMARY FUNCTIONS\r\n\r\n\r\nAnalyzes Life Cycle Management data requirements and provides related solution modeling and implementation.\r\n\r\n\r\nReviews proposed solution plans for Endevor and related automated operations.\r\n\r\n\r\nEvaluates solution design, upgrade, conversion from other products and implementation approaches.\r\n\r\n\r\nConducts hardware/software comparative evaluations as they relate to Life Cycle Management.\r\n\r\n\r\nTechnical solution trouble shooter and post-implementation support.\r\n\r\n\r\nActs as consultant in studying and recommending actions on a wide variety of technical areas regarding Life Cycle Management and Dev Ops.\r\n\r\n\r\nCommunicates current innovations and trends in Life Cycle Management.\r\n\r\n\r\nTechnical consultant and reference source.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to implement or upgrade Endevor, build processors, create inventory structures and build application configuration of life cycle elements.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to script or code quick implementation to solve conversion from other products to Endevor\r\n\r\n\r\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\r\n\r\n\r\nUnderstanding of Endevor concepts and practice\r\n\r\n\r\nUnderstanding and implementation of Endevor Components, ACM, PDM, Security interface and Quick Edit.\r\n\r\n\r\nProficient with REXX programming languages\r\n\r\n\r\nBachelor's Degree preferred and 8+ years' experience with Endevor\r\n\r\n\r\nFirm understanding of Endevor processors and ability to take examples and put together processors that do program compiles and other utilities such as JCL check\r\n\r\n\r\nFamiliarity with Changeman, ISPW, Librarian, Panvalet, and other competitor products to Endevor is a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\nPEOPLE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to listen to client requirements and organize them into a list of business needs and objectives\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to provide written communication back to the project manager and customer regarding build and integrate instructions, assigned task status, and ability to communicate through channels such as knowledge transfer instructions to run the solution after implementation is complete.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to follow a communication plan established by the project manager\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to document clearly all the aspects listed above, and ability to clearly communicate in writing project statuses, task statuses, and communicate in writing\r\n\r\n\r\nOTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain deep knowledge of assigned product capabilities, in this case our Mainframe DevOps Solutions, and how they provide value to clients\r\n\r\n\r\nHave a thorough knowledge with regard to the competitive marketplace\r\n\r\n\r\nBe able to articulate the value that products deliver to customer initiatives\r\n\r\n\r\nDeliver technical presentations, demos, POCs, RFx responses\r\n\r\n\r\nInstall and configure assigned products in customer environments\r\n\r\n\r\nUnderstand and be able to identify client needs for ALL products in the CA portfolio\r\n\r\n\r\nDemonstrate effective partnering with Broadcom's internal and external partners\r\n\r\n\r\nCollaborate with other technical experts to develop detailed specifications, as necessary.\r\n\r\n\r\nDemonstrate effective time management.\r\n\r\n\r\nREQUIREMENTS\r\n\r\nTechnical Bachelors and/or up to 2 years of related experience or Masters.\r\n\r\nAdditional Job Description\r\nCompensation and Benefits\r\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $59,000.00 - 90,000.\r\nThis position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.\r\nBroadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401(K) participation including company matching, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacation time.
