We are hiring four exceptional full-stack engineers who can independently build, ship, test and troubleshoot production features across mobile, frontend, backend and infrastructure.\n\nThis is not a narrowly defined frontend or backend position. You will work across the product—from React Native interfaces and trading workflows to Python services, authentication, reliability and system performance.\n\nWe value demonstrated engineering ability over years of experience. Strong candidates will have clear evidence of technical achievement through production work, independently built products, open-source contributions, research, competitive programming or other substantial projects.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n* Build and improve Liquid’s React Native mobile application\n* Develop and maintain Python backend services\n* Ship new trading and consumer-product features from concept through production\n* Own features across frontend, backend and supporting infrastructure\n* Implement common infrastructure and security functionality, including authentication\n* Diagnose production issues and improve system reliability\n* Improve application performance, scalability and testing\n* Clone, adapt and refine user-interface patterns when speed and consistency matter\n* Collaborate closely with product, design and operations\n* Help establish engineering processes appropriate for a fast-moving seed-stage company\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n* Approximately 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience\n* Demonstrated experience shipping production software\n* Full-stack development experience with meaningful frontend and backend ownership\n* Experience with React or React Native\n* Experience building backend services with Python\n* Strong computer-science fundamentals\n* Ability to test, debug and troubleshoot production applications\n* Evidence of independently owning and delivering product features\n* Clear written and verbal communication\n* High execution speed and comfort working with limited direction\n* Willingness to work in person in New York City\n* U.S. work authorization without current or future sponsorship\n\nStrongly Preferred\n\n* Experience building mobile applications with React Native or Swift\n* Fintech, trading, cryptocurrency or consumer-product experience\n* Experience working on high-performance or high-scale systems\n* Open-source contributions or a substantive GitHub portfolio\n* Independently built products with real users\n* Research, competitive-programming or startup-building experience\n* Experience on a high-performing engineering team\n* Evidence of learning and executing unusually quickly\n\nWhat Strong Candidates Demonstrate\n\nWe are looking for more than a generally solid full-stack background.
