Traveling on average once a week should be expected.\n\nTHIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY AND THE EMPLOYER INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY 7/31/26.\nLocation\nThis role would be required to be a hybrid role out of one of our offices (Mountain View, CA, San Diego, CA, Los Angeles, CA. or New York, NY)\nResponsibilities\nDesign and engineer commercial and small utility-scale solar PV projects\nCommunicate with utilities on an ongoing basis\nStay up-to-date on code and policy changes that impact system design\nCoordinate cadence with customer during design phase and construction phase\nCoordinate design package with Engineering firms\nCoordinate with vendors and lead procurement of materials\nPerform inspections during the installation process\nOversee commissioning process\nAssist in close out of projects with utility\nPerform production analysis for PV systems\nAssist Business Development team with pre-contract due diligence\nQualifications\nEducation/Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) or related major\n2-3 years of experience\nExcellent communication and organizational skills\nDetail-oriented and strong analytical skills\nProficient in Helioscope, AutoCAD, PVSyst and Excel\nUnderstands permitting & interconnection process\nBasic understanding of financial modeling and incentive programs\nExperience with Procore and Salesforce a plus\nComputer Skills preferred: Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project knowledge, CRM, and Smartsheet\nSkills/Knowledge/Abilities\nAbility to work independently, prioritize workload and deliver quality results on time while working on multiple projects simultaneously.\nPlan and organize tasks to consistently produce results, with minimal supervision.\nAcute attention to detail.\nStrong organizational skills.\nCommitment to excellence and high standards.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.\nAbility to successfully resolve conflicts both internally and externally\nCompensation\nThe pay range for this position is $90,360 - $110,440 annually. This position is eligible for PowerFlex's comprehensive Health and Welfare plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. The total compensation for this position may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable). PowerFlex's compensation packages carefully consider a candidate's qualifications, experiences, and education in relation to the position.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nRemaining in a seated position. Long hours on the computer keyboard. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
