integration tests as part of the Software Testing Life Cycle.\nPerform basic database validation using SQL queries when needed.\nMaintain testing artifacts and track testing activities using tools such as Jira and XRay.\nContribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation coverage.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nExperience in manual, integration, functional, and automated testing.\nExperience using Jira to build or manage test plans, issues, test executions, and reports.\nUnderstanding of modernized system functions, including those influenced by automation or data‑driven workflows.\nBachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).\nPreferred Skills and Experience:\nExtensive experience with integration and interface testing.\nExposure to Corporate Database, MPI, VA Profile, and existing API services in the VA network.\nAbility to write basic Oracle scripts for testing.\nExperience working with the VA or other Federal agencies.\nExperience supporting remote work environments.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and VA’s Veteran‑Focused Integration Process (VIP).\nGeneral awareness of responsible automation and VA modernization priorities, with openness to learning how AI‑assisted tools may support testing workflows.\nInterest in using emerging tools—potentially
