This is a hands‑on role responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.\nYou’ll work across a variety of environments—including commercial spaces, houses of worship, government facilities, and industrial sites—leading installations and supporting both customers and team members in the field.\nWhat You’ll Do Install, set up, test, calibrate, and tune complete AV systems according to project specifications\nLead onsite installation efforts, ensuring work meets company standards and project timelines\nRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, signal flow diagrams, and wiring plans\nWire and build full AV racks to company standards\nTroubleshoot and resolve installation issues (both common and complex)\nSupervise and direct technicians and subcontractors when needed\nCommunicate with customers to address questions, concerns, and system functionality\nProvide end‑user training on installed systems\nReport project risks, issues, and progress updates to the Project Manager\nAccurately track and report time and job progress using company systems\nPerform other duties as assigned\nWhat You Bring 3+ years of pro AV installation experience in a commercial environment , including audio, video, and lighting systems\nStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics\nExperience pulling wire and cable using various techniques\nProficiency with hand and power tools\nSoldering experience\nKnowledge of low‑voltage electronics\nProven ability to lead teams and direct work onsite\nStrong communication and customer service skills\nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment\nCTS certification preferred\nAdditional Requirements Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record\nWillingness to travel. About 60% of time will require overnight travel\nFlexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines\nWhat is the job environment like? This position requires the ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, use hands and fingers, reach and push with hands and arms. Frequently required to sit, climb, and balance. Work requires the ability to perform job duties on scaffolding, ladders, and at various heights as well as extensive overhead motion required to install equipment. Work requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds on a daily basis.
