We strive to be the BEST at everything we do.\nPosition Summary The Transload Operator is responsible for unloading Bulk liquid railcars to tank trailers. Maintain proper documentation (seal logs, loading paperwork, railcar paperwork) to meet Food grad customer requirements.\nResponsibilities The Transload Operator follows operational guidelines and procedures.\nConvey and enforce compliance of procedures effectively.\nThe Transload Operator loads and unloads a variety of bulk liquid.\nOperate railcar loading systems and equipment.\nThe Transload Operator participates in safety training programs.\nEnsure tracks are locked out and blue flags placed before start of work.\nThe Transload Operator keeps storage containers neat and clean.\nThe Transload Operator provides accurate track list of railcars on site with estimated product amounts.\nPull product samples from railcars per customer guidelines.\nThe Transload Operator performs additional duties as required.\nThe Transload Operator reports directly to the Operations Supervisor.\nRequirements Education and Experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license.\nPreferred Qualifications Chemical Operator Experience\nWarehouse Operations Experience\nEssential Qualifications Demonstrated ability to take ownership for one's own actions or decision.\nProven skill as a self-starter that works as a team member under direction of management.\nDemonstrated ability to focus attention on determining what can be done to make progress.\nAbility to clearly organize and effectively convey information.\nDemonstrated ability to multi-task.\nDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.\nProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision.\nUnderstand fully the work being done.\nInteract and collaborate with other team members professionally.\nLanguage Skills Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.\nPhysical Demands The position climbs on and off railcars.\nThe position requires walking long distances.\nConsistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on elevated surfaces.\nWork, walk, and stand on uneven ballast surfaces for long periods of time.\nRequired to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the course of a shift.\nThe position operates basic hand tools.\nWear and properly use a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.\nAbility to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.\nWork in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions: including extreme heat and cold.\nWork in potentially elevated noise levels.\nWork Environment Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
