This role will have a strong focus on operational performance metrics and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.\n\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\n\nPrepare, analyze, and interpret monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.\n\nPerform variance analysis (budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual) and clearly communicate drivers and risks to leadership.\n\nPrepare journal entries and review general ledger accounts, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.\n\nLead or support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.\n\nIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate close and reconciliation processes.\n\nSupport the development and execution of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.\n\nProvide financial analysis for capital expenditures, pricing strategies, and cost-saving initiatives.\n\nLead, coach, and develop the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely processing, strong internal controls, and continuous improvement of workflows.\n\nCollaborate internally to resolve discrepancies and improve vendor management processes.\n\nLeverage ERP and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting capabilities and data visibility.\n\nIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations.\n\nSupport system upgrades, implementations, or integrations as needed.\n\nEnsure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.\n\nSupport audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.\n\nParticipate in special projects, including system implementations, process redesign, and strategic initiatives.\n\nEnsure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed at all times.
