The TPA operates as an individual contributor, receiving mentoring and training from senior team members, and plays a key role in maintaining compliance and supporting new client onboarding.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nComplete 500-750+ electronic return filings and payments per month, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.\nRespond to jurisdictional notices, take corrective action as necessary, and log all notices in Oracle Service Cloud.\nCorrespond directly with clients and/or taxing jurisdictions to answer questions and resolve issues.\nCreate and maintain reports from various sources for both internal and external use.\nProcess incoming mail, including logging and tracking jurisdictional notices.\nPrepare returns and check payments for mailing by established deadlines.\nSupport the new client setup process, ensuring all documentation and filings are completed.\nMaintain and update pertinent business information and records.\nParticipate in other projects or duties as assigned to support the tax team.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nNone. This is an individual contributor role. Receives mentoring and training from senior team members.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nBasic understanding of tax forms and filing requirements.\nExperience with Microsoft tools, with proficiency in Excel.\nAbility to create, edit, and maintain spreadsheets and reports.\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nDetail-oriented with strong follow-up and analytical skills.\n· Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. · Capable of handling confidential/sensitive information discreetly.\nAble to work as part of a diverse team and interact effectively with clients, taxing jurisdictions, and internal staff.\nAbility to follow standard practices and procedures, and detailed instructions.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.\nResults-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.\nEDUCATION AND TRAINING:\nHigh School diploma required. 2-4 years of relevant experience in tax processing, administrative support, or a related field. No certifications are required.
