The ideal candidate brings both strong technical depth and proven people leadership experience, with the ability to lead engineers and technicians in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.What You’ll DoLead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team across RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineering, as well as PCB Design and Technician functionsOversee day-to-day engineering operations, priorities, and team executionInterview, hire, coach, mentor, and evaluate engineering staffPartner with Project Managers to align engineering resources with project requirements and timelinesSupport technical reviews, engineering work sessions, and internal design standardsImprove engineering processes, workflows, productivity, and delivery qualityAssist with cost estimates, technical writing, and proposal supportEngage with clients on technical feasibility, solution planning, and project needsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field8+ years of engineering and/or systems experiencePrior experience leading or supervising technical teamsStrong background in engineering leadership and people managementAbility to lead cross-functional technical teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience improving engineering processes, workflows, and team productivityAbility to balance technical execution with operational and business needsU.S. Citizenship requiredPreferred SkillsExperience in Defense, Aerospace, Military, or Space environmentsBackground in RF, Electrical, or Systems EngineeringExperience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teamsExperience supporting bid and proposal effortsUnderstanding of engineering process improvement and operational efficiencyClient-facing technical leadership experienceFamiliarity with RF, microwave, or mission-critical communication systemsIdeal Candidate BackgroundYou are a hands-on technical leader who knows how to manage people, drive accountability, and improve engineering team performance without losing sight of the technical mission.
